2nd Annual Poetry Reading in the RBR

Tomorrow night, Thursday April 28th, at 7:30 we are celebrating National Poetry Month with our 2nd Annual Poetry Reading in the Rare Book Room of the E.H. Little Library.  Last year was great fun, and we’re looking forward to this year’s event.  We’ll have Davidson students, faculty members, and some local Davidson town poets — talented all — reading from their own works.  There will also be time afterwards for refreshments and chatting with the poets.

Hope to see you there!

Vachel Lindsay Comes to Davidson – twice

Since it’s National Poetry Month (in the U.S.), it seems like a good time to highlight a poet or two. While many poets have come to Davidson, Vachel Lindsay’s first visit marks an interesting town-gown collaboration.

But before we get the full blog – Become a Fan!  The Davidson College Archives and Special Collections has a Facebook page now, so you can find out more about our events and activities. There’s a link under our Links on the right side of the blog to get you there.
